No:409/25, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Minister of the Diwan of the Sultan of Oman General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’mani

On 29 October 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, within the framework of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, met with the Minister of the Diwan of the Sultan of Oman General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’mani.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on the current state and development prospects of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Oman.
The sides noted the importance of expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investment, tourism, education and humanitarian affairs, as well as conducting mutual visits for elevating relations to a new stage.
It was emphasized that the establishment of our Embassy, the consultations held between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs earlier this year, the creation of inter-parliamentary friendship groups, and the Azerbaijan-Oman Direct Investment Fund are clear examples of the expansion of relations between the two countries.
It was noted that cooperation within international organizations, including the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, is developing successfully, and the importance of continuing mutual support and joint activities within these platforms was emphasized.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
