On 28 September 2024, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maksim Ryzhenkov within the framework of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was conducted on various aspects of the existing strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the level of strategic partnership relations between the two countries, and it was emphasized that the continuation of high-level meetings and political dialogue is important in terms of identifying new areas of cooperation and raising the partnership to a qualitatively new level.
It was stressed that the dialogue between the leaders of the two countries plays an important role in the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus, and in this direction, the historic visit of the President of Belarus to our liberated territories was recalled with satisfaction.
It was noted that such contacts play an important role in discussing the prospects of the existing friendly and cooperative relations.
It was emphasized that there are prospects for cooperation in various directions of the economic field, including trade and investments, as well as the importance of using these opportunities.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was also conducted on other issues of mutual interest.
