On 25 July 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rafał Poborski, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, issues on the bilateral and regional agenda were discussed.
The sides, referring to the existing cooperation relations between two countries, noted that contacts and meetings conducted at the high level contribute to the development of cooperation based on friendship, respect and strategic partnership.
It was noted that bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Poland in the political, economic, energy, alternative energy, humanitarian, education and other fields have broad prospects, and the importance of the mechanism of political consultations, as well as parliamentary diplomacy, in the development of relations was emphasized.
It was underlined that the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), to be hosted in Azerbaijan this year, is significant for the further development of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The Minister highly appreciated the efforts of the Ambassador of Poland in the development of bilateral relations and wished him success in his future diplomatic activities.
