In view of the heightened security situation in the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Republic of Azerbaijan urges its citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran and advises those currently in Iran to leave the country via Azerbaijan or Türkiye, depending on their location.
Azerbaijani citizens are also asked to observe security measures, avoid areas of mass gatherings, follow instructions issued by local authorities, and regularly monitor official information sources.
In the event of an emergency, citizens are requested to contact the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Islamic Republic of Iran or the Consulate General in Tabriz using the following contacts:
