On 5 February 2024, a meeting was held between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Samir Sharifov, and the Head of the Foreign Policy Directorate of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sekreta.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the current level of bilateral relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Belarus, and it was noted that political dialogue at the highest level plays a fundamental role in the development of bilateral cooperation in all areas.
The current positive dynamics of cooperation in the economic field between the two countries was particularly emphasized.
During the meeting, an extensive exchange of views was held on other important international issues of mutual interest.
