On 23 January 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to our country Andrey Ravkov on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Andrey Ravkov for his effective activity during his tenure as Ambassador of Belarus to Azerbaijan and wished him success in his future endeavors.
The importance of high-level connections, mutual visits, and exchanges of views within the framework of international platforms in the development of the existing strategic partnership between the two countries was emphasized.
In particular, it was stated that there are broad prospects for cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and investments, and the importance of the activities of the joint intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Belarus in this direction was noted.
The importance of continuing mutual support and cooperation within the framework of regional and international organizations was brought to attention.
Ambassador Andrey Ravkov expressed his gratitude for the mutually beneficial cooperation and support during his tenure in our country and noted his confidence that the Azerbaijan-Belarus strategic partnership will continue to develop along an upward trajectory.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues of mutual interest.
