No:015/26, Press Release on the Graduation Day Held within the Advanced Foreign Policy Program for Young Diplomats

On 21 January 2026, the graduation day of the Advanced Foreign Policy Program for young diplomats, jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and ADA University, took place.
The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, the Rector of ADA University, Ambassador Hafiz Pashayev, heads of structural divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and young diplomats.
In his remarks, the Rector of ADA University, Hafiz Pashayev, shared his experience gained both during his tenure as Ambassador and in his current capacity. He provided a number of useful recommendations and wished the young diplomats success in their future endeavors.
Subsequently, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, congratulated the young diplomats, who were admitted to the diplomatic service as a result of a multi-stage examination process, on graduating from the Advanced Foreign Policy Program and wished them success in their professional activities. It was noted that in the current period of transformation of the international relations system, important responsibilities fall upon diplomats in advancing the foreign policy course determined by President Ilham Aliyev, based on our country’s national interests. In this regard, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the importance of enhancing the knowledge and skills of diplomats to effectively address such challenges. The Minister also shared his recommendations with the diplomats.
Aygun Hajiyeva, Advisor to the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of ADA University and Head of the professional development program, and Raman Mammadov, Head of the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered remarks providing detailed information on the content of the Advanced Foreign Policy Program organized in 2025, as well as on the training sessions and visits conducted across various fields. It was noted that steps would continue to be taken to further improve the content of the Program.
Thereafter, two young diplomats selected among the program participants addressed the audience, sharing their views and impressions of the Program and expressing their gratitude to the organizers.
At the conclusion of the event, the young diplomats were awarded certificates for their participation in the Program.
