No:504/22, Press release about the third meeting of Commissions on delimitation between Azerbaijan and Armenia in Brussels 

On November 3, 2022, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan, respectively, the third meeting of the Commission on the delimitation of the state border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, and the Commission on border security and delimitation of the state border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan was held.
Before the meeting, the Secretary General of the European External Action Service, Stefano Sannino, greeted the delegations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, wished success to the work of the Commissions, and confirmed the readiness of the European Union to help the process of normalization of relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia.  
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Shahin Mustafayev and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Mher Grigoryan in their welcoming speeches expressed their gratitude to the Council of the European Union for the smooth organization of the meeting.
The sides, taking into account the agreements reached in different formats at the level of the leaders of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia, continued the discussion on delimitation issues and considered organizational and procedural issues.
In order to determine the legal framework for the joint activities of the Commissions, the sides agreed to speed up the work on agreeing on procedural aspects of the joint activity of the State Commission on the delimitation of the state border between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Armenia and the Commission on border security and delimitation of the state border between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The sides agreed to define the date and place of the fourth meeting of the Commissions in due course.
