No:126/24, Press release on the meeting between Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Louis Bono, U.S. Department of State Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations
On 18 March 2024, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a meeting with Louis Bono, U.S. Department of State Senior Advisor for Caucasus Negotiations.
Agenda and opportunities of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and the U.S., situation in the region, as well as multiple aspects of the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia were discussed during the meeting.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov outlined the position of our country regarding the issues related to the meetings held in Munich Security Conference and in Berlin, expectations of Azerbaijan from the peace process, as well as remaining issues in the course of the process. Azerbaijan’s commitment to the peace process was noted.
At the meeting, the sides have also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
