No:060/25, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan

On 15 February 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan within the framework of his participation in the Munich Security Conference.
During the meeting, political, security, economic, and transport-communication aspects of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye allied relations, as well as issues on the regional and international agenda, were discussed.
The importance of continuing joint activities and support within the framework of regional and international organizations, including the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), the United Nations, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other platforms, was noted.
The sides also exchanged views on the current situation in the Middle East, particularly in the Gaza region and Syria.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also provided his counterpart with detailed information on the current regional situation and the state of the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process.
During the meeting, other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
