No:010/24, Press release on the telephone conversation between Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan

On 15 January 2024, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During the telephone conversation, the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on Strategic Partnership signed within the framework of the official visit of the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to Azerbaijan, as well as other agreements reached, and regional and international issues were discussed.
In addition, views were exchanged on issues of cooperation with the COP28 Presidency of the UAE within the framework of the preparation process for Azerbaijan’s presidency and hosting of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29).
During the phone call, directions of cooperation on other international platforms were also discussed.
