No:442/25, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Political Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Digital Transition of the Republic of San Marino Luca Beccari

On 27 November 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, within the framework of his official visit to the Italian Republic, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Political Affairs, International Economic Cooperation and Digital Transition of the Republic of San Marino Luca Beccari.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on the current state and prospects of Azerbaijan–San Marino relations. The sides emphasized that there are opportunities to expand political dialogue between the two countries, intensify mutual visits, activate the mechanism of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and develop cooperation in various areas.
The Ministers expressed mutual interest in deepening economic and trade relations, exploring investment opportunities, and promoting cooperation in tourism, education and humanitarian fields.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed his counterpart about Azerbaijan’s initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region, the normalization process with Armenia, including the agreements reached within the framework of the Washington Joint Declaration, as well as large-scale reconstruction and restoration works carried out in the liberated territories.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on cooperation within international organizations, as well as on the situation in the Middle East, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, and other regional and global issues of mutual interest.
