No:430/25, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the President of the Asian Ombudsman Association, Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi

On 13 November 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the President of the Asian Ombudsman Association, Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan Ejaz Ahmed Qureshi, who is visiting our country.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the dynamic development of Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations based on the principles of friendship and brotherhood, and the exceptional role of high-level contacts between the leaders of the two countries in shaping interstate strategic partnership was emphasized.
The numerous high-level contacts held over the past year in bilateral and multilateral formats were recalled with satisfaction, particularly the trilateral meeting of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Pakistan and Türkiye held in the city of Lachin in May of this year, as well as the participation of the Prime Minister of Pakistan in the military parade dedicated to the 5th anniversary of 8 November – Victory Day.
The growing dynamics of economic cooperation and mutual investments between Azerbaijan and Pakistan were noted, and it was emphasized that this also has a positive impact on the development of relations in other areas.
It was noted that cooperation between the ombudsman institutions of the two countries adds value to further deepening and expanding our bilateral relations.
The coordinated activities of the two countries based on mutual support within international and regional organizations, including the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation and the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia, were highly appreciated.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues of mutual interest.
