No:428/25, Press release on the telephone conversation between Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan

On 11 November 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov made a telephone call to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his condolences in connection with the crash of a C130-type military transport aircraft belonging to brotherly Türkiye, which was en route from Azerbaijan to Türkiye and crashed on the territory of Georgia, and wished mercy to the deceased crew members and military personnel, and patience to their relatives.
Information was provided that the Azerbaijani side is in contact with the relevant state authorities of Türkiye and Georgia regarding the accident. It was stated that our country is ready to provide all necessary support for eliminating the consequences of the accident, as well as for conducting search and rescue operations.
Minister Hakan Fidan expressed his gratitude for the condolences and the support shown during this difficult time.
