No:398/25, Press release on the meeting of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov with the Director General of the Labour Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Azer Bayramov

On 17 October 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received the Director General of the Labour Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Azer Bayramov.
During the meeting, the work carried out and future plans of the Labour Center, which is a newly established specialized institution of the OIC, were discussed.
At the same time, an exchange of views was held on the existing cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and the OIC, as well as preparations for the OIC Summit to be held in our country next year and other high-level events.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed satisfaction with the close cooperation relations established with the Organization. It was noted that the Labour Center, established within the framework of the 5th Conference of Labour Ministers of OIC member states held in Baku, will further advance relations within the Organization.
Confidence was expressed that the work to be carried out will contribute to the expansion of cooperation among member states in the fields of labour, employment, social protection, and human capital development.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues of mutual interest.
