No:272/25, Press release on the mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports between Azerbaijan and China

The necessary domestic procedures for the entry into force of the “Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on mutual visa exemption for holders of ordinary passports,” signed on 23 April 2025 in the city of Beijing, have been completed.
Accordingly, in line with the relevant provision, the Agreement will enter into force on 16 July 2025.
Under the Agreement, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan holding valid ordinary passports of the Republic of Azerbaijan and citizens of the People’s Republic of China holding valid ordinary passports of the People’s Republic of China are exempt from visa requirements for entering, exiting, and transiting through the territory of the other country, provided that the duration of each stay does not exceed thirty (30) days per visit and a total of ninety (90) days within any one hundred and eighty (180) day period.
