On 21 March 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Hakan Fidan within the framework of the Nuclear Energy Summit.
During the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the development of brotherly and strategic allied relations between our countries.
It was emphasized that the ongoing successful cooperation between our countries in bilateral and multilateral formats makes significant contributions to regional development, and in this regard, the importance of further deepening cooperation in trade, energy, security, transport, science and education, and many other areas was highlighted. The importance of joint development of transport corridors in the region was noted.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also informed his counterpart about the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process.
During the meeting, an extensive exchange of views was also held on other regional and global issues of mutual interest.
