On 18 March, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan, within the framework of his working visit to Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the current security situation in the region and recent developments.
The Ministers emphasized the importance of maintaining regional stability, preventing further escalation of tensions, and respecting the norms and principles of international law, including the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states.
The sides noted that the Azerbaijan–Türkiye alliance plays an important role in ensuring peace and security in the region and drew attention to the importance of joint and coordinated action in addressing existing challenges.
The Ministers also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
