On 7 March 2025, within the framework of his participation in the extraordinary session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ceyhun Bayramov, met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
During the meeting, issues arising from the Azerbaijan–Pakistan strategic partnership, as well as various aspects of the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda, were discussed.
Referring to the discussions held during the recent visit of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Shehbaz Sharif, to Azerbaijan last month, the sides reviewed partnership matters in the fields of economy, trade, investment, energy security, transport, and other areas of mutual interest.
