On 15 February 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Moldova Mihai Popșoi within the framework of his participation in the Munich Security Conference.
During the meeting, the agenda of existing bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Moldova, particularly cooperation in the field of energy security, as well as current issues related to the regional and international situation, were discussed.
The role of high-level and top-level contacts in the development of friendly relations based on mutual respect and support between the two countries was noted.
The importance of further developing cooperation within multilateral platforms between the two countries was emphasized.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on other issues of mutual interest.
