On 7 February 2024, a telephone conversation was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the formed Government, Murat Nurtleu.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated his counterpart on his reappointment as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and wished him success in his future activities.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, referring with satisfaction to the existing bilateral, as well as multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, brought to attention his confidence that relations based on friendship, brotherhood and solidarity between the two countries will continue to develop along an upward trajectory.
During the telephone conversation, views were also exchanged on various aspects of the strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, including the current situation in the region.
