On 19 January 2024, within the framework of his participation in the 19th Summit Meeting of the Heads of State and Government of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov met with the Minister of People’s Power for Foreign Affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil Pinto.
During the meeting, the cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Venezuela in the humanitarian, cultural and other fields, as well as contacts on bilateral and multilateral levels, were discussed.
Referring to the active bilateral cooperation agenda between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, the ministers emphasized that there are prospects for expanding cooperation opportunities between the two countries in all fields, including education, tourism and other areas.
During the meeting, the importance of political consultations held between the foreign policy institutions of the countries for relations between Azerbaijan and Venezuela was also noted, and views were exchanged on the next political consultations.
During the meeting, other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
