No:019/26, Press Release on the Expanded Meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On 23 January 2026, an expanded meeting of the Board was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan under the chairmanship of Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.
The meeting was attended by the senior leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and heads of structural divisions.
During the Board meeting, in line with the foreign policy course determined by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the activities carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2025, the main priorities for 2026, issues of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, economic, climate and humanitarian diplomacy, international assistance efforts, diplomatic activities in the post-conflict period, measures aimed at the protection of the rights and freedoms of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan abroad, as well as issues related to the organization of the activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
