On July 3, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov
The Ministers exchanged views on the agenda of cooperation between the two countries, as well as topical issues related to further strengthening traditional friendly relations.
The Ministers also discussed issues of regional security and cooperation within international organizations.
The importance of the high-level meeting between Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Türkiye scheduled for this year was highlighted.
During the telephone conversation, other issues of mutual interest were discussed.
