On 2 December 2024, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Ilia Darchiashvili, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized with satisfaction the joint efforts made during Ilia Darchiashvili’s tenure as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia for the further strengthening of high-level and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries and the expansion of cooperation in the international dimension, and expressed his gratitude to the other side. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov wished Ilia Darchiashvili success.
It was emphasized that Azerbaijan and Georgia are united by good-neighborly and historical friendly relations, and strategic partnership relations in political, economic, humanitarian and other fields.
