No:461/24, Press release on the telephone conversation between Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt

On 21 November 2024, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and Badr Abdelatty, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the phone call, the importance of further developing friendly relations based on mutual trust, bilateral and multilateral ties between Azerbaijan and Egypt was emphasized. The importance of improving coordination work within the framework of international organizations and multilateral formats, and increasing joint efforts in directions falling within the interests of our countries, was noted.
The discussions conducted at the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the role of this globally important event in the field of combating climate change, and the fact that it may create additional opportunities for Azerbaijan–Egypt cooperation in the field of green energy were stressed.
During the phone call, an exchange of views was also conducted on regional issues of mutual interest.
