On 7 August 2024, an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Committee of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation at the level of foreign ministers was held in Jeddah.
The Republic of Azerbaijan was represented at the meeting by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yalchin Rafiyev.
During the event, the latest situation in the Israel-Palestine conflict zone, the threats it poses to the region, and possible solutions were discussed.
At the end of the meeting, the Final Communiqué was adopted.
