The Azerbaijan International Development Agency (AIDA), operating under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has joined the project to establish a Youth Leadership and Innovation Center in Kenya. The Center will operate in the capital city of Nairobi.
The project aims to enhance youth skills and their role in society, develop leadership capacities, and strengthen efforts to support successful career building.
On 4 July, the presentation ceremony of the Center was held. The financial assistance allocated by AIDA for the material and technical support of the project, amounting to a total of 34,000 US dollars to be disbursed in two phases, was presented to the Center by Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Kenya, Sultan Hajiyev.
During the ceremony, a memorandum of understanding was signed between AIDA, the Kenya Special Training Institute, and other project partners.
Speakers at the event assessed AIDA’s participation in this humanitarian project as part of the dynamically developing relations between Azerbaijan and Kenya.
