No:138/25, Press release on the visit of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yalchin Rafiyev to the Republic of Guinea

On 8 April 2025, a government mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Yalchin Rafiyev visited the Republic of Guinea at the invitation of the other side with the aim of establishing and expanding bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and the Republic of Guinea in political, economic, humanitarian and other fields.
During the visit, Yalchin Rafiyev held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Guineans Abroad of the Republic of Guinea, Morissanda Kouyaté, and issues of bilateral political and economic cooperation between the sides were discussed.
In addition, meetings were also held with the leadership of the ministries of agriculture, labour and civil service of this country, as well as the national oil company SONAP.
During these meetings, discussions were held on directions of cooperation in trade, investment, agriculture, the use of mineral resources and other areas for the development of cooperation between the two countries, as well as on the establishment of a legal and contractual framework, and at the same time detailed information on Azerbaijan’s “ASAN service” concept was provided to the other side.
