On 13 March, a phone call was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, Hakan Fidan.
During the phone call, the current security situation in the region and the increasing tensions were discussed.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov condemned the subsequent missile attack carried out today against the territory of the Republic of Türkiye and expressed his support for brotherly Türkiye. It was emphasized that further expansion of the military escalation could lead to undesirable consequences.
During the phone call, an exchange of views was also held on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
