On 12 March, a phone call was held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
The Ministers discussed the current regional security situation, the increasing military escalation in the Middle East, as well as issues of bilateral cooperation.
The existing strategic cooperation relations were highly appreciated, and plans for future contacts were reviewed.
The sides also exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest.
