On 2 March 2024, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, met with the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu, on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
The ministers expressed satisfaction with the existing bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan and emphasized the importance of further developing relations based on friendship, brotherhood, and solidarity between the two countries.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on various aspects of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, cooperation in the fields of transport and energy, as well as the current situation in the region.
