On 21 February 2026, a telephone conversation held between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.
During the telephone conversation, the issues arising from the partnership relations between the two countries, opportunities for expanding the bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda, as well as the regional and international security situation of mutual interest were discussed.
The views were exchanged on the recent developments in the Middle East, issues stemming from the first meeting of the Peace Council held in Washington, D.C., and other matters of mutual concern.
