No:030/22, Information of the Press Service Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the telephone conversation between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and the Minister of State for Europe of the United Kingdom
On February 1, 2022, Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with Chris Heaton-Harris, Minister of State for Europe of the United Kingdom.
During the telephone conversation, the sides exchanged views on the successful development of comprehensive cooperation between Azerbaijan and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Regional security issues, including the implementation of trilateral statements, were discussed by the sides.
Referring to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries this year, the Ministers emphasized the importance of holding joint events on this occasion. The sides also stressed the importance of mutual visits in this regard.
During the telephone conversation, the sides exchanged views on Azerbaijan's chairmanship in the OSCE Forum for Security Cooperation and implementation of the priorities of the chairmanship, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
