Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadayarov received the delegation of working group of Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on inter-parliamentary relations with Azerbaijan.
Minister Elmar Mammadyarov noted the importance of inter-parliamentary relations and expressed that this visit would contribute to furthering of relations between two countries. Stressing the close partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine, Elmar Mammadyarov noted the cooperation and mutual support of both countries within the framework of international organizations.
Roman Nasirov, the head of the inter-parliamentary relations working group at the Verkhovna Rada, emphasized importance attached to the development of relations with Azerbaijan. Adding that the delegation have had very productive meetings within the visit. He also noted their interest in having exchange of experience on various fields with Azerbaijan.
During the meeting cooperation in the fields of agriculture, industry, culture and sports between Azerbaijan and Ukraine were also discussed and the importance of joint inter-governmental commission were stressed.
