Bilateral diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Mauritania were established on the 29th of October 1994.
On October the 24th to the 26th of 2019, a delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Co-operation and Mauritanians Abroad of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mr Ismail Ould Cheikh Ahmed, visited the Republic of Azerbaijan.
Inter-parliamentary relations
The Working Group for Azerbaijani-Mauritanian Inter-Parliamentary Relations operates in the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The group is chaired by Seyidzadeh Shahin Kamil.
