On 28 October, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
During the telephone conversation, the Ministers discussed issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia, prospects for the Azerbaijan-Armenia peace process, as well as the current situation in the region.
During the telephone conversation, the importance of normalizing relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia within the framework of sovereignty and territorial integrity and establishing lasting peace in the region was emphasized.
During the telephone conversation, an exchange of views was also conducted on other issues.
