No:427/23, Press release on the telephone conversation between Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov made a phone call to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia in connection with the disaster caused by flooding and landslide near the Shovi resort in the mountainous Racha region of Georgia.
The Minister expressed his deep condolences to the families and relatives of those who lost their lives during this grave disaster, as well as to the Government and people of friendly Georgia, and wished the injured a speedy recovery. The Minister expressed hope that the missing persons would be found soon.
Minister J. Bayramov emphasized that Azerbaijan always stands by Georgia and is ready to provide every assistance in the direction of rescue operations and natural disaster recovery efforts.
Minister Ilia Darchiashvili expressed his gratitude for the solidarity and support shown.
