On 21 July 2023, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov.
During the telephone conversation, the existing bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Russia, measures towards ensuring peace and stability in the region, the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and existing difficulties in this direction were discussed.
During the telephone conversation, an exchange of views was also conducted on other issues of mutual interest.
