On 30 June, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev.
During the phone call, issues on the agenda of the strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, as well as the current state and prospects of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, were discussed.
The Ministers, emphasizing the importance of successful cooperation and mutual support within the framework of international and regional organizations, noted the importance of continuing coordinated action on multilateral platforms going forward.
An exchange of views was held on the events being carried out within the framework of Azerbaijan's Chairmanship of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence-Building Measures in Asia (CICA), as well as on upcoming initiatives.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted with satisfaction Kazakhstan's high-level representation at the Turkic World Week, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkological Congress, held in Azerbaijan, emphasizing its importance in terms of promoting shared history, culture and spiritual heritage, as well as further strengthening solidarity in the Turkic world.
During the phone call, an exchange of views was also held on other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
