On 28 May 2023, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov made a phone call to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov conveyed his congratulations to Minister Çavuşoğlu on the occasion of the decisive victory of President of the Republic of Türkiye, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the People’s Alliance by a majority of votes in the presidential and parliamentary elections held in Türkiye.
Confidence was expressed that our strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and brotherly Türkiye will further strengthen, and that our comprehensive relations in bilateral and regional frameworks will expand.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu expressed his gratitude for the attention and congratulations.
