On 25 June, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland Radosław Sikorski in the city of Gdańsk, within the framework of the Ukraine Recovery Conference.
During the meeting, the dynamics of the development of existing relations between Azerbaijan and Poland were highly appreciated, and it was emphasized that the intensive nature of political dialogue is making an important contribution to the further expansion of bilateral cooperation.
It was noted that high-level mutual visits and political consultations play a special role in strengthening relations of trust between the two countries.
The Ministers reviewed the work being carried out on a number of agreements currently being drafted between the two countries.
The prospects for expanding economic cooperation were discussed, and the importance of increasing trade turnover and promoting investment opportunities was emphasized.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on the situation taking shape in the region in the post-conflict period and on peacebuilding processes.
During the meeting, an exchange of views was also held on European security, energy sustainability, regional connectivity, as well as other regional and international issues of mutual interest.
