On 18 June, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov received Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to the Republic of Azerbaijan Tobias Lorentzson in connection with the completion of his diplomatic activities in our country.
During the meeting, issues of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Sweden in the fields of political dialogue, economy, trade, humanitarian affairs and education were discussed. The sides emphasized the importance of developing bilateral relations and continuing mutual visits and contacts.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov noted with satisfaction the development of existing relations between the two countries and expressed his gratitude to the Ambassador for his efforts in this direction. He highly appreciated Ambassador Tobias Lorentzson’s contributions to the development of Azerbaijan-Sweden relations during his tenure and wished him success in his future activities.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was also conducted on the regional situation, the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process, restoration and reconstruction works in the region in the post-conflict period, as well as other issues of mutual interest.
Ambassador Tobias Lorentzson expressed his gratitude for the support provided during his activities in our country.
