On 5 May 2023, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu.
During the telephone conversation, the foreign ministers conducted an exchange of views on bilateral and multilateral cooperation issues on the agenda between Azerbaijan and Türkiye, as well as the current regional situation.
The ministers also discussed the latest negotiations held on the draft peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
During the telephone conversation, the sides also touched upon other issues of mutual interest.
