On 3 April 2023, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and newly appointed Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov congratulated his counterpart on his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan and wished him success in his future activities.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke with satisfaction about the existing bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, and expressed his absolute confidence that relations between the two countries based on friendship, brotherhood and solidarity will continue to develop on an upward trajectory.
During the telephone conversation, an exchange of views was also conducted on various aspects of the strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, including the current situation in the region.
