On 28 April, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov met with the delegation headed by Saeed Bin Mubarak Al Hajeri, Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, in the city of Gabala.
During the meeting, the development prospects of the existing relations of friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and the UAE were extensively discussed.
The sides noted with satisfaction the high level of political dialogue and reviewed opportunities for expanding cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, investments, energy, including renewable energy, transport and logistics, high technologies, education, etc.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided detailed information on the favorable investment climate of the Republic of Azerbaijan and major infrastructure projects being implemented in the region, and emphasized the importance of the participation of UAE companies in projects implemented in our country.
At the meeting, an exchange of views was also conducted on regional and international issues of mutual interest. The sides emphasized the importance of further strengthening cooperation on international platforms.
