No:041/23, Press release on the telephone conversation between Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin

On 28 January, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin made a phone call to Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov and emphasized that he condemned the armed attack committed against the Embassy of our country in the Islamic Republic of Iran and that it is necessary for the detained person to receive his punishment within a short period of time.
He extended his condolences to the family of the head of the security service who was killed as a result of the attack and to the Azerbaijani people. He stated that Tajikistan is always ready to support Azerbaijan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his gratitude to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of friendly Tajikistan for the condolences and wishes of support. It was noted that the punishment of all those who ordered and organized the treacherous terrorist act against our Embassy, including its perpetrator, is demanded.
