Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu made a phone call to Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and strongly condemned the treacherous terrorist attack committed against the Embassy of our country in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
He extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and to the Azerbaijani people over the Embassy employee who lost his life as a result of the incident.
Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu emphasized that Azerbaijan is not alone and that Türkiye always stands by brotherly Azerbaijan.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov expressed his gratitude to the Turkish Foreign Minister for these wishes of brotherhood and solidarity, and stated that the Azerbaijani side will spare no efforts to ensure that those who committed the treacherous terror act and their patrons answer before justice as soon as possible.
