No: 521/22 Press Release on the Meeting of Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov with Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy

On 17 November 2022, a meeting was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for International Cultural Cooperation Mikhail Shvydkoy.
At the meeting, humanitarian and cultural issues, as well as confidence-building measures in the region, were discussed on a bilateral and regional basis.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov provided information on the process of normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia in the post-conflict period.
Special Representative Mikhail Shvydkoy emphasized that the efforts of our country towards ensuring peace and tranquility in the region are significant. He noted his readiness to provide support towards the implementation of joint events in the cultural and humanitarian fields.
The meeting also featured an exchange of views on other issues of mutual interest.
