On 8 June 2023, a telephone conversation was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
During the telephone conversation, the current state of relations between Azerbaijan and Iran, certain existing problems and issues of their resolution were discussed.
Agreement was expressed on the continuation of negotiations and mutual contacts between the relevant institutions of the two countries in the noted directions.
During the telephone conversation, an exchange of views was also conducted on a number of regional issues.
